the best of the social summit
MELBOURNE
On the 6th of February, 2025, over 400 creators, brands, and marketers gathered at The Rydges, Melbourne, for Australia’s first conference dedicated to content creators and brand builders. Across two tracks ~ the Content Track and Brand Track ~ over thirty industry thought leaders lead twelve inspiring sessions exploring the intersection of content and commerce.
The Social Summit was more than just an event ~ it was a cultural moment. A space where creators, brands and marketers connected, created and collaborated IRL. Marketing, PR and Social Media Managers from leading brands like Mecca, David Jones, Scanlan Theodore, Google, Viktoria & Woods and Jet Star were among those in the room. The buzz didn’t stop there ~ organic content from attendees flooded feeds on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Substack for weeks.
Attendees immersed themselves in panel discussions, mini-masterclasses, hands on workshops and fireside chats. The line-up featured Sam Wood, Alison Rice, Gemma Dimond and Woody Whitelaw, plus speakers from global platforms like TikTok, Spotify and Luxury Escapes ~ just to name a few.
Our incredible event partners ~ Merchgirls, QV Skin, Melbourne Social Co and AiMCO ~ delivered insightful sessions and interactive activations, ensuring attendees walked away with fresh strategies and industry knowledge, as well as epic event merch and hydrating skin care.
The fully catered day wrapped up with a networking event sponsored by QV Skin, where guests enjoyed cocktails, canapés, and meaningful connections. The response? Overwhelmingly positive! And for those who missed out, the FOMO was real.
So, we’re doing it all again. The Social Summit is heading to Sydney. On September 19, 2025, we’ll bring together the brightest minds in social media and digital marketing at the Manly Pacific Hotel for another unforgettable experiencing.
